Our Financial Services
RIT Financial will perform the following services on a monthly basis:
- Assist with the creation and revisions to a chart of accounts.
- Attend the monthly meeting of the Board of the ESD.
- Write checks for invoices approved by the Board and submit them for signature by the appropriate officers of the Board of the ESD.
- Manage billings for dispatch services provided to others.
- Properly record all cash and other business transactions using generally accepted accounting principles.
- Reconcile all bank accounts of the ESD.
- Reconcile the Available Reserve Balances, if applicable.
- Maintain a set of accounting records that will assist the independent auditor in the preparation of the annual audit.
- Prepare and present a monthly balance sheet.
- Prepare a monthly income statement, comparing actual receipts and disbursements to the ESD’s budget projections.
- Analyze and place investment funds, if applicable, according to the ESD’s Investment Policy.
- Assist with the development of the annual budget.
- Prepare and present a general ledger detailing transactions for the month.
- Record adjustments proposed by the ESD’s independent auditor.
